Rick's career spans McKinsey, PwC, North Highland, and Publicis Sapient, where he consistently partnered with C-suites, led cross-functional teams, and delivered measurable impact. He has served on and facilitated multiple Boards of Directors and is a current member of the Gunderson Dettmer Tech Advisory Council, focused on the impact of AI on corporate governance and the broader innovation economy.

He holds an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Marketing from UConn. Outside of work, Rick has traveled all seven continents within the past year, baked over 2,200 sourdough loaves, and he completed a solo 4,600-mile bicycle ride across the United States over 218 days to see friends and family.

Worked with McKinsey’s Senior Partners to launch and scale a global Sustainability M&A strategy; identified priority capability gaps and established "build, invest or buy" approaches. Scanned 500+ firms, partnered with 40+ and acquired 3 across domains such as carbon footprints, climate risk, and ESG.

Partnership Programs at Scale:

Launched and led the partnership program at North Highland, generating over $700M in impact and $24M in revenue across 150+ projects — scaling the partner ecosystem from 3 to more than 350 organizations.

AI & Corporate Governance:

Active member of the Gunderson Dettmer Tech Advisory Council, advising on the implications of AI for corporate boards and the broader innovation economy.

Board-Level Experience:

Served as a Board of Directors member at Resource Systems Group, American Cancer Society, Theatrical Outfit, and Moving in the Spirit. Facilitated board-level strategic planning for the Atlanta Ballet, Georgia Conservancy, and Metro Atlanta Arts & Culture Coalition.

Cloud & Transformation Leadership:

Led Cloud go-to-market strategy globally for McKinsey's Cloud by McKinsey practice; managed communications and change management for enterprise cloud migrations at Candid Partners (acquired by McKinsey).
